1. PRICING

   • All prices displayed on our website are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Prices and availability are subject to change without prior notice.
   • Cathay Furniture reserves the right to cancel or reject any order that we believe has been listed, described, or priced erroneously, whether due to human or system error.
   • We accept payment via major credit/debit cards, online banking (FPX), and selected e-wallets. Full payment is required upon checkout. All payments are processed securely through third-party providers. Cathay Furniture is not responsible for any delays or errors caused by payment gateway issues.

2. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

   • The Cathay Furniture website (www.cathayfurniture.com) is intended solely for use by individuals, businesses, and entities residing in Malaysia (“the Serviced Country”). We currently do not accept or process orders for delivery outside of Malaysia.

3. DELIVERY

   • Any delivery dates provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. While we aim to deliver within the stated timeframe, Cathay Furniture shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by delivery delays.
   • Upon delivery, once the delivery order is signed, the order is deemed accepted in good condition. Please inspect your items upon delivery and notify us immediately of any issues.
   • Customers are advised to exercise care when unboxing products, especially when using sharp objects, as Cathay Furniture is not responsible for any damage caused during unpacking.
   • It is your responsibility to ensure that the items ordered are suitable for your space and intended use. Our products are standard in design and not custom-made to fit specific customer requirements.

4. Order Confirmation & Cancellation

   • Orders placed on our website are subject to acceptance and stock availability. You will receive an order confirmation via email once your purchase is successfully processed.

   • Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once confirmed, especially for items that are custom-made or already dispatched.

5. Return & Exchange Policy

   • All items sold are final and non-returnable. Cathay Furniture does not accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges once an order has been confirmed and processed.

   • We strongly advise customers to carefully review product details, dimensions, and specifications before placing an order. Our team is available to assist with any questions you may have prior to purchase.

   • In the rare event that a product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery, accompanied by clear photos and a description of the issue. We will review the case and, if verified, provide an appropriate resolution at our discretion.

6. User Account

   • To make a purchase on our website, you must first register for an account. By registering, you confirm and warrant that:

     •  You are at least 18 years of age;

     • If you are under 18, you have obtained consent from your parent or legal guardian, or are using the account under their supervision;

     • You are using your real identity;

     • The personal information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date; and

     • We are not responsible for damages arising from technical issues, including viruses, software/hardware failures, or data loss, due to the use of this website.

8. Exclusion of Liability

   • Cathay Furniture expressly excludes liability for any damage, malfunction, or defect in the products arising from the following circumstances:

     • Failure to follow Cathay Furniture’s written or verbal instructions regarding installation, assembly, or use;

     • Use of the product beyond its stated performance limits or weight/load-bearing capacity as specified on our website, catalogue, or product materials;

     • Any modifications, alterations, or adaptations made to the product by the customer or a third party without prior written consent from Cathay Furniture;

     • Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or mishandling by the customer;

     • Defects arising from any design, drawing, or specification provided by the customer;

     • Defects caused by normal wear and tear, accidental or intentional damage, improper storage, abnormal environmental or working conditions, or unauthorized repairs.

9. Non-Performance

   • Cathay Furniture shall not be held liable for any failure in performance, malfunction, or resulting loss or damage arising from the following circumstances:
     • The product is used for purposes other than those for which it was designed or intended; or
     • The product is combined with, installed alongside, or integrated with other products or components not supplied or approved by Cathay Furniture.
